Corn
on the Cob
Shuck (peel) the corn.
Use suitable large pot
filled with enough water to completely cover the corn, say 3/4 full.
Add 1 tbs salt and bring
water to a rapid boil.
Add corn, cover pot
and again bring to a rapid boil.
Turn off heat and leave
corn in hot water for 12 minutes.
Drain water, but leave
corn in pot until you're ready to
serve to keep it warm. (Corn gets mushy if you leave it in
the water).
Serve.
