I usually try
to spent a week at Huntington Lake in mid-August. Often, I'm fortunate
to have Bob join me for several days of sailing.
Huntington is
one of a string of several lakes that
provide power to the Southern California Edison power grid. These
shots are of the power station below Huntington.
The lake is
well known in the Hobie Cat fraternity for its wonderful sailing
and camping conditions... very unusual in the High Sierras, above
7,000 feet.
